The Feeling ROSS series offers more than just spectacle—it is also an accessible and engaging gateway into the great symphonic repertoire. In this edition, the ROSS explores the universe of Gustav Mahler, one of the most fascinating composers of the last century, with an educational concert at the Teatro de la Maestranza at affordable prices.

Before the official start of the season, this event, led by conductor Irene Delgado Jiménez, will guide audiences through the work of this brilliant composer, exploring Mahler’s relationship with the concept of Beauty. Her live commentary will provide the audience with valuable insights, enriching their experience of the three full symphonies included in the season’s program.

This educational initiative will be further enhanced by two lectures given by maestro Lucas Macías, coinciding with the symphonic concerts he will conduct featuring Mahler’s works, thereby offering a comprehensive learning journey into the heights of post-Romantic symphonic music.

In May, this journey will continue alongside the performance of the Tragic Symphony, with a new lecture series curated by composer and professor Alberto Carretero. Featuring contributions from a range of distinguished figures from the world of music, these sessions will offer deeper insight into the music of this great post-Romantic titan—opening up new perspectives and listening paths that will connect audiences to an essential musical experience.
